Shine On,

Jaclyn

#1 Straight Leg Jeans - These jeans are timeless, and we like having a few shades of blue in this style, along with black or gray!

Tops: Tee shirts, blouses, sweaters, sweatshirts, turtlenecks, as long as your waist is accentuated, which is the most flattering with this style jean. Feel free to tuck in your top or pair with a bodysuit or shorter top.

Shoes: Flats, ankle boots, classic sneakers, pumps or slingbacks.

#2 Wide Leg Jeans - Wide leg pants are comfortable, they cinch at the waist (woohoo Golden Ratio rule!) and they are flattering. Since a ton of outfit options can be created with wide leg, we suggest a few shades of blue, including dark blue, indigo and light blue.

Tops: Bodysuits, knit tops, sweaters, and tank tops with a blazer or bomber jacket.

Shoes: High top sneakers, ankle boots. combat boots, chunky sneakers, mules or clogs, strappy sandals, pumps or loafers.

#3 Flare Jeans - We love flare jeans because you can truly make them your own. You can could sport extra flare for a more retro look or a tamed down flare for a dressy outfit. We each own two pairs of flare jeans - dark blue and black!

Tops: We suggest wearing tops that balance the bottom of your flare jeans, such as chunky sweaters/cardigan that falls at the waist, tucked in button down tops, fitted tees or tank tops (throw on a tailored blazer or moto leather jacket to compliment the look) or a fitted top with shoulder pads for a super fun look!

Shoes: Clogs, platforms, retro sneakers, pumps, strappy heels or ankle boots.

#4 Skinny Jeans - Despite what Generation Z says, we believe skinny jeans belong in your wardrobe at all times, and in all colors! We love high waisted skinny jeans for a sleek, put together look.

Tops: We prefer voluminous tops (make sure they fall at the waist!) to be paired with them to balance out the tight bottoms. Try an oversized blazer or a sweatshirt, a chunky sweater or cardigan, boxy tee shirt or tucked in button down top.

Shoes: Add something unexpected such as chunky or high top sneakers, lug sole boots, Doc Marten's, kitten heels or knee high boots.

#5 Boyfriend Jeans - Similar to skinny jeans, we also believe boyfriend jeans have a place in your wardrobe, as they are laidback and typically comfortable. Boyfriend jeans are like straight leg jeans, but with a relaxed, slouchier fit or you can choose a slimmer fit, slouchier option (#3 below!). We adore boyfriend jeans with a slight distressed look, and lover that you can dress this up or down depending on your mood!

Tops: Basic white tee, puff sleeve top, body suits, crop tops, tucked in button down or bomber jackets.

Shoes: Slip-on sandals, heeled strappy sandals, block sandals, pumps, flat mules, wedges or espadrilles.

#6 Cropped Jeans - The hemline of these jeans fall right above the ankle, and can come in a variety of styles, such as skinny or high waisted wide leg, which is our newest obsession and where we will focus our attention today!

Tops: Blazers over a fitted tank top or tee shirt, fitted turtleneck, long cardigan over a fitted top, tucked in tee shirt (throw on moto leather jacket or bomber too!) or a fitted puff sleeved top

Shoes: Strappy heeled sandals, ankle booties, Chelsea boots, retro or chunky sneakers
