Our Favorite Shine Size Retailers Part Two :
Size inclusivity is part of our core mission at Shine. When we are looking at retailers for ourselves and clients, one of the first questions we want an answer to - what are your size ranges? We want to know that the retailer is committed to creating products for all Shine Sizes. We don't want a few pieces here and there in a collection; we want a variety of options in multiple styles, season after season.
Over the next couple of weeks, we will be sharing insights on some of our favorite retailers, as well as links to our favorite go-to items from these Shine Size devotees. Everlane:
For us, we head to Everlane for our Shine Staples! We buy for ourselves and style clients in Everlane's staple items. Think cashmere, silk, striped tees and shoes (yes please to Italian leather). Everlane isn't big on trends, which we love. You pay for high quality closet pieces at insanely reasonable prices. This is how they do it:
Everlane's approached was branded by them as "Radical Transparency." - They spend months finding the best factories around the world; essentially the same ones that produce very well known designer labels. They then skip the middle man. Since Everlane's path is straight from the manufacturer to the consumer, they don't have the traditional retail markup. The result? Staple pieces that last for years, without the designer prices.
Some of our favorite Everlane products include their blazers, cashmere sweaters, button down shirts, shoes and one of our go-to pieces, their Dream Pant, which Laura is wearing below. The Dream Pant is the pant we recommend most to elevate your look, while remaining comfortable and either dressed up or dressed down! The waist has an elastic band with a sleek tapered leg at the bottom, for a smooth and classy look. The best part?! These pants are WRINKLE RESISTANT!
